How it works

Cartalax is the synthetic tripeptide AED (Ala-Glu-Asp) marketed as a cartilage “bioregulator.” It has no FDA-approved product, indication, or dose.

Benefits & side effects

Recent work examined AED in cultured rat chondrocytes and stem-cell differentiation models.[1][2] No controlled human trial establishes Cartalax for osteoarthritis, pain, cartilage regeneration, mobility, or aging. A change in cultured-cell proliferation does not show that cartilage regrows inside a loaded human joint.
