How it works

Cortagen is the experimental tetrapeptide AEDP, marketed as a brain-cortex “bioregulator.” It is distinct from Cortexin, a heterogeneous animal-tissue extract, and has no FDA-approved product or indication.

Benefits & side effects

Studies have examined Cortagen-related gene-expression changes in mice and sciatic-nerve regeneration in rats.[1][2] These models do not establish cognitive benefit, stroke recovery, neuroprotection, anxiety treatment, nerve repair, or anti-aging effects in people.
