Kisspeptin 10 mg

Typical daily range: 100–200 mcg once daily (gradual titration).

  • Reconstitute: Add 3.0 mL bacteriostatic water → ~3.33 mg/mL concentration.
  • Typical daily range: 100–200 mcg once daily (gradual titration).
  • Easy measuring: At 3.33 mg/mL, 1 unit = 0.01 mL ≈ 33.3 mcg on a U‑100 insulin syringe.
  • Storage: Lyophilized: freeze at −20 °C (−4 °F); after reconstitution, refrigerate at 2–8 °C (35.6–46.4 °F); avoid freeze–thaw cycles.

How it works

Kisspeptin is not a single manufactured "peptide therapy" product but a naturally occurring family of peptides produced from the KISS1 gene, including a shorter, commonly studied fragment called kisspeptin-10 and a longer form, kisspeptin-54, both used in human research.[1] These peptides bind the kisspeptin receptor (historically named GPR54, now KISS1R), a G protein-coupled receptor central to reproductive endocrine signaling.[2]

Kisspeptin sits upstream of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) in the body's reproductive control system. Its scientific relevance is specifically in reproductive endocrinology — fertility, puberty onset, and gonadotropin regulation — not in the general anti-aging or wellness claims sometimes attached to it online.

Benefits & side effects

Kisspeptin has real, peer-reviewed human trial evidence, concentrated in a specific research niche: assisted reproduction. UK research groups, including teams at Imperial College London and Hammersmith Hospital, have studied kisspeptin-54 as a trigger for oocyte (egg) maturation during IVF, including in women at high risk of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome, where it may offer a safety advantage over conventional triggers.[5][7] Earlier work established that kisspeptin-54 stimulates the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis in human males, and later studies examined kisspeptin-10 effects on LH pulse frequency.[4]

This is genuine early-to-mid-stage human clinical evidence, not merely animal data — but it remains investigational, drawn from small, specialized, closely monitored trials rather than large approved-drug studies. Kisspeptin has also been studied for effects on brain responses to sexual and emotional stimuli, which is relevant to libido and mood hypotheses but remains early human evidence.[17] Broader claims about testosterone optimization, general fertility enhancement, or anti-aging benefits go beyond what this evidence supports.
