How it works
Despite the legacy URL and online marketing category, SLU-PP-332 is a synthetic small-molecule agonist of estrogen-related receptors, not an amino-acid peptide. It is a laboratory chemical probe with no FDA-approved product, indication, or human dose.
Benefits & side effects
In mice, SLU-PP-332 increased oxidative muscle-fiber features and exercise endurance through ERRα-dependent signaling.[1] A later study in mouse models of obesity reported lower fat mass and improved metabolic measures.[2] These studies did not test people, and “exercise mimetic” does not mean the compound reproduces the cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, neurological, or mortality benefits of exercise.
