Evidence is animal and gene-expression research

Studies have examined Cortagen-related gene-expression changes in mice and sciatic-nerve regeneration in rats.[1][2] These models do not establish cognitive benefit, stroke recovery, neuroprotection, anxiety treatment, nerve repair, or anti-aging effects in people.

Safety is unknown

There is no regulator-reviewed human pharmacology, adverse-event profile, interaction assessment, pregnancy evidence, neurologic monitoring standard, or long-term safety program.

Regulatory status

Cortagen is unapproved in the United States. Compounded products are not FDA-approved or premarket-verified for safety, effectiveness, or quality.[3] Teloryx publishes no dose or preparation protocol.
